Background
There are several different filter options that you can use to filter/search through the list of clients ([navigation menu] > Clients).
Filter Options & Configuration
The filter configuration can be found on the configuration page ([navigation menu] > Configuration > Clients). There, you will find several filters that can be enabled as needed.
Keyword
This will enable a filter that will allow you to search the following data points from a single textbox:
- Name (first, last, display)
- Facility (name, city)
- Case (name, diagnosis)
Case
This will provide a specific textbox to filter specifically off of the case name.
Date of Birth
This will provide a specific textbox to filter specifically off of the date of birth.
Name
This will provide a specific textbox to filter specifically off of the client's name (first, last, and/or display name).
Keyword Search: Advanced Options
The "keyword" field at the top of the list can be used to filter the list below. General text entered into this field will be used to search against the first and/or last name of clients. However, additional keywords can be used, as described in the examples below (search term- result).
- John Doe - only clients with a first or last name like "John" and a first or last name like "Doe" will return.
- s:Lenny - only clients with an assigned staff member that has a first or last name like "Lenny" will return.
- staff:Lenny - only clients with an assigned staff member that has a first or last name like "Lenny" will return.
- f:Minneapolis - only clients living in "Minneapolis" or in a facility with a name like "Minneapolis" will return.
- facility:Minneapolis - only clients living in "Minneapolis" or in a facility with a name like "Minneapolis" will return.
- It is important to note that the keyword searches (ie "s:Lenny") do not support spaces. That means that a search of "s:Lenny Jones" will search for a client with an assigned staff member with a first or last name like "Lenny" and a client with a first or last name like "Jones."
Advanced Searches
If any, more complex searches are desired, we recommend going to the [navigation menu] > Clients > Search page. There, you will find a wide array of filter options, as well as the ability to configure the information contained in the results. Each of the results will also allow you to navigate to each clients' profile.
